My Friend Seven Clown Circus and Wordful Wednesday
I have been wanting to try Wordful Wednesday for a while now, but being 6 months pregnant, I am never quite sure what to say...sigh. This week I decided to jump right in with some creative writing. This is my writing, but it is not new...that said I enjoyed writing it and I hope you enjoy reading it :)
The biggest dream I ever dreamed…well, you couldn’t fit it on this page
If you could, well, then it would be an 8.5×11 dream, and that just really is not that big
Unless you happen to be very small, like an ant or a flea, of course then you would be writing on
A much smaller sheet of paper
Perhaps you would be typing on a very tiny keyboard, writing about all your hopes and dreams,
That could conceivably fit on a 8.5×11 inch piece of paper
Of course, you wouldn’t think of it as a piece of paper, you would probably think of it as a world,
Well a neighborhood at the very least
Your ant and flea friends would be quite impressed by the size of your dream then, now wouldn’t they
Perhaps you could take a very small pencil and start drawing
Well, the pencil would not be small to you, as a matter of fact it would be quite
Of ordinary size,
As ordinary goes
You know if we were used to pencils being a different size then ordinary size would seem odd to us
And not ordinary at all
But since you are an ant or a flea…oh I forgot to ask which you were, I do apologize…
A pencil of your ordinary size is really quite small, but you will draw…you will draw your dreams
On an 8.5×11 piece of paper, which will seem quite large and can fit quite a lot, it could change the world!
Well, it can change your very tiny world, we will just have to wait and see what it says
Or what drawings you draw…
Because it is quite possible that the dreams of a flea written with a tiny pencil on an 8.5×11 piece of paper
Could change a the quite large world of people who use ordinary sized pencils.
